Save this date: March 31, 2006 – April 1, 2006

Place: Sheraton Four Points Harrisburg, PA

The 2006 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006 and Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel near Harrisburg, PA.

This year's featured Liberty Dinner speaker will be Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC's nightly "Scarborough Country." A former Congressman, Joe Scarborough takes on both political parties with straight talk that is rare in the world of television news. Also this year, U.S. Senator Rick Santorum will be a special guest speaker at the Liberty Dinner. Author of the book It Takes A Family, Senator Santorum has become an outspoken national conservative leader. And, Club for Growth President Pat Toomey has agreed to reprise his role as the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference's Keynote Speaker at the Saturday luncheon.

Plans are for the 2006 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference to begin on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with an opening session featuring selected candidates for Governor of Pennsylvania. The first issue panel will follow the opening session and will run until 4:30 P.M. A pre-dinner reception with the dinner speakers will be held at 5:00 P.M. followed by a 6:30 P.M. dinner in the Sheraton Four Points’ main ballroom.

Saturday will begin with a 7:00 A.M. breakfast (speaker to be announced), followed by three one-hour panel presentations on critical public policy issues facing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The conference will break for the Keynote Luncheon at noon. At 1:30 P.M. a two-track wrap-up session providing hands on training for campaign and issue activists will conclude the conference.

Registration for the conference will open soon. Reservations at the Sheraton Four Points must be made separately. A special rate of $99.00 has been arranged for the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference. We have arranged for a larger block of reserved rooms for the 2006 conference.

The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premiere gathering of public policy conservatives in the state. Since its founding in 1989, the conference has welcomed a who’s who of state and national conservative personalities to its podium. After a break of several years, the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference returned in 2005 with a record breaking sold-out crowd of over 500 attendees. The 2005 conference agenda featured major speeches by Ann Coulter, and by Pat Toomey of the Club for Growth. The conference’s five panel presentations explored a wide range of issues including taxes, labor issues, business climate, education, gambling & family issues, as well as special session on media and effective activism.
