Belief Matters--Josh McDowell coming to Central PA

Belief Matters

“Our churched young people are adopting distorted beliefs about God, Christ and His Word. And these distorted beliefs are directly attributing to our kids making wrong moral choices.”

~Josh McDowell

According to Josh McDowell's extensive research about today's church-going young person:

63% don't believe Jesus is the Son of God

58% believe all faiths teach equally valid truths

51% don't believe Jesus was physically raised from the dead

70% don't believe an absolute moral truth exists

Why does belief matter? Those with such a distorted view are . . .

200% more likely to physically hurt someone

300% more likely to use illegal drugs

600% more likely to attempt suicide

Whether one fully accepts these startling statistics or not, one must admit that the culture today is having a negative impact upon our Christian young person and how and what they believe. At Harrisburg Christian School, we are committed to assisting the local Bible-believing church and the Christian family in transferring a Biblical belief system to our students. It has been our honor to partner with Central PA Youth Outreach and Josh McDowell Ministries in bringing Josh McDowell to the Central Pennsylvania area this Fall.
