Pre-Election Message--Vote NO on Nigro and Newman

From: "Terry" <macbnt@yahoo.com>

Subject: Vote NO on Nigro and Newman

This is an urgent pre-election message for conservatives, pro-lifers, and all Pennsylvanians who value the Constitution.

In a few weeks, when you go to the polls, you will decide on whether or not Supreme Court Jusdges Russell Nigro and Sandra Newman should be retained, or not. You'll decide on whether or not these judges should have their tenures on the PA Supreme Court extended, or not.

And you are urged to vote NO on the retention of Newman and Nigro. In part, here's why. You'll recall that our state legislators recently voted themselves an unconstitutional pay increase, in mid-term, of 16-54 percent. Although the Constitution (Article II, Section 8) is CRYSTAL CLEAR on the matter of legislators giving themselves pay raises in mid-term, Justices Newman and Nigro have both previously ruled (in 1995, the last time our legislators pulled the same stunt) that this is constitutional. Justices Newman and Nigro show willful disregard for the very constitution they swore to God to uphold. And the pay raise is but the tip of the iceberg. Both judges also deny the inherent Right to Life of the unborn. Both are also guilty of ringing up massive tabs at posh restaurants and sending the bill to the taxpayers. Both have been instrumental in blocking the tort reform that Pennsylvania needs to stop our exodus of doctors and job creators.

So remember, on election day this Nov. 8, vote NO on the retention of Nigro and Newman. We deserve judges who honor the rule of law as it is plainly written in our Constitution.
