Subject: WERE YOU CONFUSED OR ANGRY?

Hi Bob - First of all, thank you for the e-mails about Act 1.  I sent them to everyone on my e-mail list and I think that you were instrumental in securing that 'no' vote.   Secondly, Did you read what Governor Rendell said as reported in the Pgh. Post Gazette today?  "The governor doens't believe that  the defeat of the local tax shifting question is an indication of anything other than confusion."  I think that we should flood his e-mail and telephone lines and tell him exactly who is confused.  It is not the citizens of Pa.  We knew what we were doing yesterday when we went into the voting house and it is about time that he learned that we are not the uninformed people that he thinks we are.  We have to keep this going and we have to keep the pressure on.  Thank you so much for everything that you do.  You are truly appreciated by so many.

Bob Says:  CONGRATULATIONS TO JANET AND ALL OF YOU WHO MADE POSSIBLE THIS EMBARASSING DEFEAT OF THE GOVERNOR AND LEGISLATIVE LEADERS' LATEST PROPERTY TAX SCAM.  OF THE NEARLY 500 SCHOOL DISTRICTS THAT HELD THE MANDATED REFERENDUM, ONLY FOUR PASSED ITYOU SPREAD THE TRUTH, YOU HELPED TO GET OUT THE VOTE…AND YOU ALL CAN TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN THIS OVERWHELMING REJECTION.  IT PROVES WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN CITIZENS UNITE AGAINST POOR GOVERNMENTAL POLICIES.

AS JANET POINTS OUT, GOVERNOR  ED RENDELL BELIEVES THAT YOU WOULD HAVE VOTED DIFFERENTLY IF YOU VOTERS WEREN'T 'CONFUSED.'  IF YOU CARE TO OFFER THE GOVERNOR YOUR THOUGHTS IN RESPONSE TO HIS REMARKS YOU MAY E-MAIL HIM BY HITTING ON THIS LINK.    http://sites.state.pa.us/PA_Exec/Governor/govmail.html

Please inform your State Senator and State Representative of your thoughts as well.

WE NEED TO MUSTER THE SAME ENTHUSIASM TO PUSH FOR ENACTMENT OF TRUE, PERMANENT, AND SENSIBLE

PROPERTY TAX REFORM—ABOLISHMENT OF ALL PROPERTY TAXES ON PRIMARY RESIDENCES-- WHEN OUR NEW STOP LEGISLATION IS INTRODUCED SHORTLY IN THE CURRENT SESSION OF THE LEGISLATURE.

REMEMBER, THE LEGISLATIVE BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE—THE STATE'S FISCAL EXPERTS

STUDIED THE STOP LEGISLATION AND FOUND IT TO BE FISCALLY SOUND AND WORKABLE.
