Today is day 40 of the Aurora 40 Days for Life effort, and media outlets are buzzing with the news summed up by this quote from Eric Scheidler featured in one area newspaper last night:
"Planned Parenthood will not be opening tomorrow. For
me and the citizens of
Families Against Planned Parenthood, that's a great
victory. We've been praying for 40 days that this
would not open, and our prayers have been answered."
Even with Planned Parenthood's millions of dollars, political clout, legal strong-arm tactics, and media influence, the abortion chain STILL couldn't open its new 22,000 square foot abortion mega-center as originally scheduled for today. God is good!

The battle in Aurora is far from over, with Planned Parenthood taking the battle back to court on Thursday, but this is a clear victory demonstrating the power of 40 days of prayer, fasting, and peaceful action.
