Prior to the May Primary we received the following helpful information
from our board member John Drennan in Lancaster County. It's presented for
your information. It's an appeal for campaign help in this last week before
the election for the pro-life, socially conservative Cheryl Allen, presently
on Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, running for the statewide PA
State Superior Court.
I believe that PA courts are self-destructing as evidenced by the PA
Supreme Court rubber stamping the patently unconstitutional Act 71
gambling expansion law; implicating itself in the pay raise scandal;
overturning the Erie Nude Dance ordinance which had prohibited nude
dancing where alcohol is served... to name a few decisions. A
concerted effort must begin to replace the current judges with
constitutionally-minded conservatives. I plan future discussions about
statewide church lit drops for judicial candidates. This is how
important it is to develop campaign machinery for judges.
As you will read below, Cheryl has the kind of qualities necessary for a
moral, principled judge. Spread the word. Join the statewide email campaign
& by word of mouth for her. The strongest endorsement is
personal endorsement from a respected friend. That friend could be you.
Forward this email to your email lists before the election next
Tuesday, November 6. Do it now.

At the invitation of a friend, I attended a meeting at her home in
Cumberland County last night. Cheryl Allen, Republican candidate for
Superior Court was there. She currently sits on the Criminal Division
of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
Judge Allen is an outspoken Christian, avidly pro-life and in strong
opposition to the slots foolishness. She spoke of gambling as
witchcraft. She is a wife, has three grown sons and 5 grandchildren.
She and her husband belong to Covenant Church in Pittsburgh where Judge
Allen serves as a member of the worship team. She was the keynote
speaker at the Billy Graham Training Center's "God's Presence in Your
Work Life" conference. Cheryl is active in the Pittsburgh area with
"Women Without Walls," a Christian organization to promote unity
between the races and denominations. She teaches Bible studies for
them at times. She is an African American. I strongly believe that she
is impartial in criminal cases without a bias toward the prosecution or
the defendants. She is strongly sympathetic to home schooling and spoke
of the anti-Christian bias in society and in politics.
A former Democrat, Cheryl has changed her affiliation to Republican
because her conservative family values were not welcome in the Democrat
power structure. Although she is a former public school teacher Judge
Allen supports school choice and is against the teacher's union agenda.
... I am going to vote for her and help her at the polls. I strongly
feel that we should endorse her as an organization. She wants to meet
with you folks if you would like within the next week. I noticed she
did not respond to the democracy rising questionnaire. I would have
asked her about that but I didn't realize that until now.
Cheryl did say that she responded to the Pro Life Federation's

courageous Christian doing battle for our Christian values within this
