The Next Supreme Court Nominee Must be a Thomas or Scalia

Speaking at American Family Association of Pennsylvania's conference on September 17 on Traditional Values, Dr. Paul Schenck of Priests for Life said that now is the time to call the White House and tell the President to nominate a Clarence Thomas or Antonin Scalia to the US Supreme Court if the court is going to change in a positive direction.

Acknowledging that John Roberts is an unknown quantity, Paul Schenck reasoned that if John Roberts follows in the footsteps of the late William Rehnquist, the status quo on the court will not changed. It is the next nominee who must be a bona fide pro-life conservative like Thomas or Scalia to change direction of the court or the opportunity will be lost.
