House reform panel's latest votes By The Associated Press The Speaker's Legislative Reform Commission voted on proposals related to the General Assembly's size and campaign finance on Monday: REJECTED: _Reduce size of 253-member Legislature. _Set specified limits on campaign contributions. _Public financing of state campaigns. _Add campaign finance disclosure prior to elections. ENDORSED: _"Seek to lessen growth" in Legislature's spending. _Establish unspecified limits on contributions in races for governor, General Assembly and other state races. _Limit contributions by those seeking noncompetitive bids for state contracts. _Force disclosure of finances by "527" advocacy groups for their attempts to influence Pennsylvania elections.
