AFA of PA ACTION ALERT
General Pace Reiterates that Homosexual Acts are Immoral – Is Jeered by Onlookers
During testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee on Wednesday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Peter Pace, was given an opportunity to clarify his ‘homosexual acts are immoral’ remarks from a March interview.
General Pace once again said homosexual acts are wrong and should not be permitted in the military any more than adultery should be condoned. Senator Tom Harkin D-Iowa, thinks both the homosexual and adultery policies in the U.S. Military Code of Justice need to be changed.
On Wednesday General pace said, “ . . . that we should respect those who want to serve the nation but not through the law of the land, condone activity that, in my upbringing, is counter to God's law."
In June President Bush announced he was not re-nominating General Pace for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff position. General Pace retires on September 30th.
