Deadline to challenge union is January 20th

Plenty of non-union teachers are challenging the union over so-called "fair share"! (The filing deadline is one week away).

The deadline for Pennsylvania's non-union teachers to challenge PSEA-NEA over "fair share" is rapidly approaching: the letters have to be submitted by January 20, 2009.  Failure to reply by this date means forfeiting the right to object for this year.

We have sample objection letters ready for any teacher wanting to challenge the union this year.  Many of this year's challengers are also copying their school board and asking their boards to eliminate this contract provision at the next negotiation.  Feel free to call me at 215-586-3573 or via reply email to get a sample objection letter.

We encourage all non-union teachers to challenge compulsory union dues requirements.  It all helps to move legislation forward that would much such coercion illegal.
